ACADIA ALERT - Delayed Campus Opening (Weather)

Due to the continued weather and ongoing snow clearing efforts, Acadia University will delay opening campus on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 until 12:00pm, with classes resuming at 12:30pm. Conditions on campus will be assessed throughout the morning and if there is a need to remain closed a follow up message will be sent.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus until it opens. Residences will be accessible, and Wheelock Dining Hall will be open.

Canadian Federation of University Women-Wolfville (CFUW) Dr. Marion Elder Grant Fellowship

The $11,000 CFUW Dr. Marion Elder Grant Fellowship, funded by the Education Council - Wolfville, is awarded annually on a national basis to a woman pursuing doctoral studies. More than $150,000 in Fellowships have been awarded since 1992.

Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW)

The CFUW offers 15 scholarships and fellowships for women to pursue graduate study in a variety of fields.

 

UNITED STATES

The Woodrow Wilson Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship in Women's Studies

The WW Women’s Studies Fellowships support the final year of dissertation writing for Ph.D. candidates in the humanities and social sciences whose work addresses topics of women and gender in interdisciplinary and original ways.

The National Women's Studies Assocation

The NWSA offers three scholarships competitions for graduate students who are members of their association.
